This approximately $400 million project involved the expansion of existing Polypropylene and Ethylene plants and the construction of a new Metathesis Plant.
Our scope of services focused on control automation and I&C design verification for the Polypropylene plant expansion. This included:
- Reviewing and verifying detailed I&C and automation designs prepared by external engineering firms and third-party equipment suppliers
- Ensuring integration and compatibility between multiple systems
- Preparing detailed designs for various subsystems and the new plant control network
Additionally, we actively participated in the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of the Honeywell DCS control system, covering control cabinets and software applications for the Fail-Safe Control System (FSC). The FAT included I/O verification of control cabinets and FSC testing through simulation, ensuring full compliance with safety and operational requirements.
This approach ensured a seamless integration of automation systems, supporting reliable and efficient plant operations.
